UNcommon Women's Ministry, also known as The Ladies Lounge, teaches the value of community, the power of shared faith, and the importance of individual spiritual journeys. Women are encouraged to explore and deepen their relationship with God, understanding their identity and worth in Christ through the study of Scripture, fellowship, and service. The Ladies Lounge offers a variety of activities and opportunities for women to grow in their faith, connect with other women. Below are just a few of the things this ministry provides.
  • Opportunities for spiritual, emotional, and social growth. This can include Bible study groups, prayer meetings, and Christian book clubs.
  • Opportunities for service to the church and community. This can include volunteering at a local shelter or food bank, or partnering with local charities.
  • An emotionally safe environment where women can feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, testimonials and asking questions.
UNcommon Men’s Ministry, also known as The Men’s Locker Room, is dedicated to glorifying God by reaching men in the community and providing sound teaching and doctrine for them to live a productive life. In the Men’s Locker Room, our main focuses are evangelism and discipleship, which manifest themselves in prayer, devotion, accountability and manhood. Below are just a few things this ministry provides.
  • Events to build camaraderie, gatherings, and retreats.
  • Mentor newer members, helping them navigate their spiritual journeys and leadership roles.
  • Opportunities for men to discuss topics such as marriage preparation, retirement, Bible literacy, and stewardship.
UNcommon Youth Ministry, also known as Fire Starters, helps young people grow in their relationship with Christ and become active in the church community. Also, to help young people develop a moral foundation, explore their faith, and become future leaders abroad. Fire Starters are very intentional and have a clear purpose for each activity and/or that is hosted. The goal is help youth grow closer to Christ, not just to entertain them. Below is just a few things this ministry provides.
  • Children’s Church on Sundays to explore scriptures and discuss its application to daily life and other activities for ages 5-16.
  • Bi-Monthly worship nights with other youth, music and different speakers.
  • Opportunities to discuss relevant topics like relationships, ethics, and current events.
UNcommon Marriage Ministry helps couples grow closer to each other and to Jesus, and promotes healthier marriages and a stronger church. Here, marriage is considered a ministry because it’s a divine calling that reflects the relationship between Christ and the Church. This means that marriage is more than a social contract, and that love and submission are key to a healthy marriage. Below are just a few things this ministry provides.
  • Weekend getaways designed for couples to focus on their relationship, including spiritual reflection, prayer, and quality time together.
  • Bible studies centered on marriage, where couples can share experiences and discuss challenges in a supportive environment.
  • Guidance and preparation for couples planning to get married, helping them establish a strong foundation for their relationship.
UNcommon Singles Ministry helps members form friendships, enjoy social time together, build common bonds, and provide practical encouragement to better trust God on the journey. The Singles Ministry seeks to support, equip, and encourage Christian Singles to live Godly and fulfilling lives as they take on the personal, professional, Contrary to the stereotype of “singles” in the church. This ministry is made up of people of all ages and stages of life: those who have never been married, are divorced, widowed, empty nesters, have children at home, and those caring for aging parents. Below are just a few things this ministry provides.
  • Opportunities to discuss challenges specific to single life, like grief from divorce, dealing with family expectations, or navigating dating.
  • Service projects, outreach initiatives, or social gatherings aimed at fostering a sense of belonging within the singles community.
  • Opportunities to address different stages of singleness, including recent divorcees, lifelong singles, or those actively seeking marriage.
UNcommon Business Ministry purpose is to empower and educate individuals and entrepreneurs on the ways of building wealth and prosperity by breaking the cycle of debt and poverty. This ministry helps develop budgets, manage finances, and identify potential funding sources for personal businesses, church programs and building projects. Below are just a few things this ministry provides.
  • Create innovative marketing plans to attract new members and engage the community through digital platforms and creative outreach initiatives.
  • Utilize leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate volunteer teams for church activities and events.
  • Prioritize ethical conduct in their business dealings, reflecting the values of the church.
UNcommon Church Leadership offers a range of support to the congregation, including  spiritual guidance, pastoral care, community outreach, leadership in worship services, providing emotional support during difficult times, facilitating personal spiritual growth, and overseeing the overall operations of the church to ensure a smooth running and welcoming environment for all members. Here at UNcommon our leadership is about serving others following Christ’s interests so that they can see and accomplish God’s purpose for them in the world. UNcommon Church leadership influence and morally support the congregation, the volunteers, and the community. Here, we realize leadership is vital to the health and growth of a church community.
